Jonny Pryor believes that furniture should be both beautiful and lived in.
A craftsman grounded in both traditional and modern techniques, Jonny combines contemporary design with a respect for tradition, allowing honest, time-tested joinery to take pride of place. Based in Bristol, He builds for life with true appreciation for his materials.
Jonny trained at the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis before cutting his teeth as a timber framer at Carpenter Oak & Woodland and Cabinet Maker with Hyde & Gallagher. He is at home building kitchens, sash windows or fine freestanding furniture. He has a conscious approach to his craft, considering the environmental impact of his materials and design.
J Pryor Carpentry is very proud to be working alongside designer Emma Fallon of Kulu Textiles on our furniture collection. A British maker of luxury textiles specialising in weave and print, Emma only uses natural fibres and processes which consider sustainability.
The collection is due to be launched in November 2020 at Decorex International as part of the design nation exhibit.
